LAN Problems

Somehow during a tech session on Tuesday night the tech and I managed to screw up my notebook's wired LAN settings to my Linksys router. At this time I can not get an IP address on the eathernet port nor will the automatic repair function work. The LED to to the left of the jack is green and steady. The one to the right is either off or blinking orange.

The autoconfig IPv4 address is not related to my network.

If I connect it to another router, it works fine. Another computer connected to the LinkSys router works fine.

Does anyone know how to delete and remake the LAN connection?

I'd prefer not to set up a static address (it will work if I do so) as I use this computer in other places.

Oh yeah, this is Vista 64 bit.
