I could go for one of them.
Interesting. I'd love to see more of what he was really able to do. From the end it sounds like he was able to maintain a steady flight level but I wonder if he was able to climb any. I think I've seen somewhere a similar setup with a rigid wing structure. It would appear we are getting very near to the point where small jet engines have the power to weight ratio required to make a small personal flight craft/suit possible. Lifting off is still the big problem however.

Personally however I'm not sure I want jet fuel strapped to my body in hot water bottles.

While we're talking about Aviation...

Just got this in from a friend. And we thought the little old lady from Pasadena was hot! (Hmm, wonder how many of the younger folks here know what I'm talking about there?) Talk about a hobby! As the article said it needs an engine and considering how rare the Merlin engines are I doubt it will ever fly. At least not with a real Spitfire engine.

Holy [bleep] Batman. OK At first I thought this was critically stupid but damn that looks fun!
You know... after the last five days I've had... I can believe it.

DO I want one... no.

Do I know how to make it better...

Uhm...

Oy.
Put that thought down. I said, put that thought down and back away from it slowly. We can't be too careful when this fox gets too close to ideas like that. -Frisk
