Pictures ...

Well, I joined the yahoo group for the Canon Digital Rebel Camera and finally posted some pictures in their galleries. I know of three others with this camera Camstone Fox (who was instrumental in me getting mine by letting me try his), Yappy Sly Fox - I found out that he had one at FC this year and now JBadger who saw Yappy's and mine.

It's probably not a surprise, but I like the horse head picture the best. Of course, they are all nice, but the horse takes the blue ribbon! :)
I agree with you on the horse.

Fellow Canon Users...

Noticed that you have the same problem I have at times, that the images isn't always the sharpest in low light situations. I've gone to manual focus now and also to using the RAW format moer often. Seem to get a better picture that way, and able to adjust settings easier for sharpness when I do.

Kudos on the horse picture, that's a good one.

Oh, and I am kinda watching the forum from afar, way too many posts per day of the same old-same old sort of discussions.

Re: Fellow Canon Users...

I did find one neat piece of advice that you may have missed then ...

A 4 gig CF hard drive goes for about $400

The Creative Muvo2 MP3 player has the same hard drive - for a street price of under $200. You can substitute a CF memory card in the mp3 player and leave it usable too. (You do have to disassemble the player to get the drive out though)
