Interesting ...

You can acually run (and play) World of Warcraft on an ASUS Eee PC 1000H

Second Life works too - somewhat jerky though.

And how well does it run on said system? *looks curious*
It runs "OK" I ran a Tauren in Desolace, did a bit of combat, and it looked OK. Movement was fairly clean, but the area was not that crowded.

I then ran a player in Stormwind near the Auction House and Bank. The movement was a little more jerky in the crowded setting, but still usable.

I'll report more as I try it more.

(I'm playing over a wireless network at home and lag isn't too bad tonight.)

It's more of a "Let's see what this little beast can do" than anything else.

Desolace? That place is dead on any server. XD

Now the ultimate test is to see if it run while in Dalaran. Bet the EEE PC would just die and lock up. ;)
Probably, but I won't be able to get there for a while.
Warcraft works on an Acer Aspire one net book too but the res isn't right for SL.
WoW still runs on my old Dell laptop if I turn down the detail a bit. It's a little jerky in places, but still quite playable.

Edit: no, I haven't joined the dark side. This avatar is my undead priest who isn't quite feeling herself in this shot. With the amount I am playing my druid lately I should probably set her up with her own avatar.

Hehe is that just the base WoW? Or is it running with Lich King?

I'm trying to install WoW while on vacation for an experiment with my Toshiba. It's fairly old and I wanted to see if it could handle well :) Of course... erm... installing LK on a wireless connection probably won't happen.
Litch King, but none of my characters are high enough to get there safely.

You can see "mug shots" of all of them at:

Hehe I'll get a few screenies together of my guys in detail when I'm able to :) Good looking bunch, someone's suffering from Alt-itis I see :)
Not so much Alt-itis, but trying for a balanced group of professions and talents (See my earlier thread on that subject).

I play VERY casually, sometimes letting characters sit at an inn getting fat for weeks at a time. The drop in level for riding got me started again. Seven out of ten now have their mounts. Eyegor, Rhalf and Sunaru are the ones I still need to work with. Somehow these three don't "interest" me as much, so they have been left for last. Ghorge has had my attention lately, he's now up in Southshore and has taken all the various boat routes in the surrounding areas.

Unfortunately my friends who play the game have spent much more time and have left me far in the dust (At least on the Alliance side).

I have two very low level Taurens, one each on Whisperwind and Bloodhoof because folks I know from LJ play there, but all of those folks are WAY beyond me. I'd like to do more in groups, but have not had an oppertunity to do so.

heh looking at your screen shots of your characters I must say we have a bit of common all the characters I have are either Paladin, Warrior, Hunter, Druid or Rogue. I have absolutely no casters (Priest, Mage, Warlock), I do have a DK but that was made to play with a family friend on a different server. My hunter is the only 80 all the rest are in the same level ranges as yours.
